Aïcha

Aya, a chambermaid at a hotel in southern Tunisia, is exploited by her boss and by her parents. When she survives a bus crash and is presumed dead, she decides to begin a new life in Tunis. Diving into the city's club scene under a new name, she witnesses a crime and is questioned by a suspicious policeman. Fatma Sfar excels in the role of a woman who reinvents herself in a world of lies.
