Goodbye Julia

Mona, a well-off woman from northern Sudan, has caused the death of a man from the south under unfortunate circumstances. To make amends, she takes in his widow Julia and her son. The two women gradually grow closer.

Mohamed Kordofani tells a sensitive story about guilt and atonement against the backdrop of the country’s division.
