Hoda – Mother on Hold

Hoda, a tattooed choir singer and a Coptic Christian, grapples with two complex relationships – one with her adult foster child Mariam, who desires to marry against all advice, and the conflict-ridden relationship with her elderly mother Leila, whom she has to care for.
