Samar... Before the Final Picture
Samar tries to rebuild her life after an acid attack by her ex-husband left her disfigured and disabled. She helps another victim of an acid attack, Sanaa, on her way to recovery, accompanying her to reconstructive surgery in Dubai. Afflicted by one of the worst fates imaginable, these women demonstrate bravery, stamina – and even a sense of humour.
An unusually intimate study of a taboo subject.
