Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo
Hassan, a young security guard in Cairo, lives with his mother and his dog Rambo. Their brutish landlord Karem wants to kick them out to enlarge his car repair shop, and when he gets into a fight with Hassan, Rambo bites him. This triggers a vendetta that causes Hassan to go on the run and seek haven for Rambo.
Khaled Mansour's film is a noirish tribute to the downtrodden in urban Egypt.
