Songs of Adam

In 1946, 12-year-old Iraqi Adam is forced to witness the washing of his grandfather's corpse and decides never to grow up. His brother Ali, his friend Anki and his cousin Iman are stunned, his village ostracizes him and his father locks him into a barn. Guarded by Anki, Adam remains himself while everyone grows old and the country changes.

A highly original fable about identity and innocence.
