Who Do I Belong To?
Aicha, who has certain psychic gifts, and Brahim live in northern Tunisia, and their farm does not yield very much. Their sons Mehdi and Amine go off to join ISIS, leaving their younger brother alone with their parents. Then, Mehdi returns with a silent, pregnant, fully veiled woman called Reem.
Joobeur takes the themes of her Oscar-nominated short Brotherhood (2018, AFFZ 2020) to a new level.
