Thomas Kropf was born in the canton of Schaffhausen in 1970. After a commercial apprenticeship in an industrial company that now belongs to the ABB Group, he applied for a job in the fiduciary sector in 1990. Working as a trustee fascinated him right away since there is hardly any other job where one can gain so many insights into the most diverse companies and encounter so many different people. He acquired the professional certificate for fiduciaries in 1997 and successfully completed the training to become a fiduciary expert (Eidg. Dipl. Treuhandexperte) in 2008. Thomas currently lives with his wife in the Zurich Oberland and has been a partner at Jean Frei Revisions- und Treuhand AG in Zurich since 2000.
